I am originally from Parkersburg, WV, but a Floridian at heart. I moved to Fort Myers, in my 20's, where I completed a physical therapist assistant program and trained with a large neurological group in Naples.  With the desire to further my education, I graduated magna cum laude with  a doctoral degree from the University of Findlay.  My commitment to my patients drives me to continue learning and evolving to offer the best evidence-based care.

My passion is in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, as I am able to help my patients achieve faster pain relief and improve their joint motion. I am also Level 1 Certified in the golf Body-Swing connection with Titleist (TPI) and appreciate the results I obtain with their assessment methods. I also utilize dry needling for pain relief and tissue healing.  A marathon runner turned sprint triathlete and recreational tennis and golfer,  I have firsthand knowledge of the need to return to sport without restrictions.  My goal is to improve joint mobility with manual techniques and educate my patients on how to maintain the gains made in their sessions, getting them back out on the course, courts, and open water. 

I am also certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell and love to share recipes and knowledge about the power of plants.
